It warms my heart to see this couple together. A gentle, humble man and a sweet & loving lady just makes it all the more enjoyable shooting their wedding.

The digital guestbook was a bit hit again with the guests as they had fun writing (and drawing) messages for the couple.

And we left this last slide on to thank the guests as they take their leave

Many of you must have heard this blasting over the radio for the past week or read about it on the papers. Audi brought in the 3 racing legends and had them usher in it’s droolsome Audi R8.
Here’s the custom card back that behind all the photocard printed out.

Some of the lucky invited guests got to bring home a very intricate model of the R8. Our photocard sits nicely in it’s case as a momento of the launch.

Some of the guests had a nice up close experience with the legends

Minister Mah Bow Tan was also there to meet the people behind the launch.

The legends line up awaiting the new R8

The crowds gathered in and around the Marriott to witness this historic event

And the legends led the R8 out from Marriott down Orchard Road to their next pitstop at Raffles City.

Guess opted for black & white photocard prints in line with their branding. I must say they look great and everyone went crazy picking off their photos which we stuck on a huge photowall.

Adidas held a telematch style event at Bishan park.
Dexter and Patricia with the kids they train with for their runs.

Ross had a way with the kids and made the event a load of fun.

Some of the Adidas staff volunteered to sit on the dunking platform to raise funds for charity.

Here was the final game to finish as much watermelons in the shortest time.

This boy was presented the MVP award.

First Magazine ran a series of movie screenings. This one was before the National Stadium was closed down. Almost 15,000 people came by to have a last glimpse of the national stadium and enjoyed the screening of “The Incredibles”.

Their next screening was held at the Botanic Gardens with the show “Happy Feet”. Joe Augustin was the host and entertained everyone. Dr Vivian Balakrishnan was also invited as the guest of honour for the event.

It’s nice to see such moving weddings when a couple spends so much effort and heart into their wedding. The chinese character (en) translates to “gratitude” or “thanksgiving”.

Their speech has almost moved me to tears and they prepared a video and a special thank you presentation to mention special groups of friends who have played an important role in their lives.
Guests as usual had a good time writing their well-wishes on the digital guestbook which was flashed up on the 2 screens at Pan Pacific Hotel and printed out onto 4R to be slotted into the album immediately.

In case anybody’s wondering what’s written.. it’s thai. The guy wrote first “she’s pretty” and she replied with “he’s handsome”.
It was great to catch up with Ms Lee Bee Wah, whom I used to work with as a volunteer.

It was a great setup and very different from the usual weddings we do. Kudos to the team from WeddingActs.. Great Job!

Another one of those days we have 3 shoots one after another. Rushed to Marina Mandarin after the family shoot in the morning for a lunch wedding. The lucky couple is a charming gentleman and a pretty lady, Eddie & Joanne.
I loved the stage setup which provided a very nice background to shoot against.

I must compliment the Marina Mandarin hotel staff. We’ve probably done shoots in every 4 star and above hotels in Singapore and I’m always very happy when I come here.
- Helpful and friendly staff
- AV technicians who know what they are doing
- Nice lighting which makes for great photography
- 2 good ceiling projectors at both sides of the stage giving good colour reproduction and clarity

I was actually about to give a number rating system to each attribute (ie. service, projection, lighting etc) but I figured I that I would have to do it for all the hotels and some would not be happy with my honest ratings.. so I decided not to rate them.. :p
Did this shoot a while back for Fragonard by Senteurs de Provence. This is displayed on a full height wall at the front of their shop in Millenia Walk.
The only digital editing required were to change the background from blue to purple after the shoot (for fengshui reasons). The visual effect of letting the bottle float is done without any digital effects.
“I want to thank you for a job well done! Your professionalism has wowed all of us at Senteurs de Provence. We are truly amazed as you seek perfection in every project that you undertake. Thanks for the fantastic image of Soleil… see how it magically floats! It’s really been a pleasure working with you and thanks for capturing the essences of every image that your creative eye catches!”
